Enjoy a rowdy good time at the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show! From the covered & heated grandstands, your cheers become roars of excitement as two teams of true Alaskan Lumberjacks compete in 12 events including chopping, sawing, tree climbing, and log rolling. You’ll see Alaska’s frontier lumberjacks battle British Columbia’s premier woodsmen in a no-holds-barred competition for the title “Bull of the Woods.” Meet your jacks after the show for pictures and then, you can compete in a thrilling Axe Throwing Competition.  Get coached by one of our World Class Lumberjacks as you learn how to Axe Throw!

Come enjoy the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show!  The Disney Exclusive Lumberjack Show is a rip-roaring good time that is filled with quality entertainment for all ages.  With kid-friendly activities before the show and special character appearances during, it will sure delight and entertain our Disney guests. Enjoy one hour of Alaskan Lumberjacks battling it out in chopping, sawing, tree climbing, and axe throwing all wrapped up in history and lore. 

The lumberjack show is 1 hour long and located in downtown Ketchikan, just 1 block from the cruise ship docks.

Seating is covered, heated, and cushioned. Handicap accessible for walkers, wheelchairs, and electric scooters.

The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show & Crab Feast

crabStart your tour at the Lumberjack Sports Arena where all of Ketchikan would, once a year, celebrate their logging heritage at the annual Timber Carnival.  You will join in this celebration of a bygone era and experience first hand rip-roaring good time that is filled with quality entertainment for all ages.  The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show reflects upon southeast Alaska’s rich logging history and comes to life with thrilling displays of strength and agility.  You’ll see Alaska’s frontier lumberjacks battle British Columbia’s premier woodsmen in a no-holds-barred competition for the title “Bull of the Woods.”  Your colorful host who delights the crowd with stories of lumberjack history & lore compliments the action.

Meet the Jacks after the show for pictures and then loosen your belt and grab your camera as you sight see your way to the rustic yet elegant, George Inlet Lodge for an all-you-can-eat crab feast. Rounding out the menu are baby red potatoes, fresh oriental salad, and a delicious, smooth cheesecake with Alaskan blueberry toppings for dessert. The history of this magnificent lodge that was once an old cannery will inspire you with the story how it was moved across the ocean to its current location.  There is no doubt the pristine coastal setting and the friendly staff at the George Inlet Lodge will deliver an Alaskan experience that will not soon be forgotten.
