TESTIMONIALS
What People Are Saying
"Excellent, fun filled Lumberjack show. A must do in Ketchikan Alaska. Buy tickets online rather than from cruise ship excursion. A better value. Short 5 - 10 min walk from the cruise port pier."

"This wasn't my first choice of activities when planning our trip, but I'm so glad we booked this event! After the exciting tour we had of the Misty fjords and the beginning of our trip this was the perfect event to just have fun and shout & yell & make noise in general! We just dove right into the story and the experience and practically lost our voices with shouting. It was such a good time and a great energy!"

Yeedah Krasowski
"Great fun - and worth going, even if it was a bit pre-choreographed. It’s a bit of history and a bit of entertainment rolled into one. Lots of skilled involved with these challenge activities, so it’s great to watch. And yes, there is some audience participation too!"

Gustav
"If you see anything in Ketchikan go to the lumberjack show it was amazing and fun. If you have kids they will have a blast!"

Scott Brown
"Although the show was a bit cheesy for my personal likings I do think that it is a great show for families with young children especially. It was very entertaining and engaging for sure. I would also like to mention that Andria Hansen was most accommodating when we arrived a bit late and she swiftly escorted us to some awesome seating as well as offering us a slight discount because we were so late to the show. She is a great manager and very approachable too."

Dee Ritota
"Great fun in Ketchikan. A one hour show that is as much about the comedy as the lumberjack skills. Covered stands surround an open air arena where a pair of lumberjacks representing the USA face off against a pair representing Canada in a series of challenges. Audience participation very much encouraged. There is a refreshment stand, restrooms and gift shop. Located close to cruise ship berths."

Nigel Powlson
"Great fun! A must see show as Celebrity's Mellenium and Solstice ships Captains face off their skills. The new Celebrity corporate President even got in on it."

Tami Monnie
"Great show! Obviously came to see those from a cruise ship visit and the whole family loved it, even the really young ones liked it minus the really loud parts which were easily solved with a few seconds of hands over the ears. Friendly staff and overall well worth the time and ticket price. And come on, who doesn’t want a lumberjack calendar for Christmas."

James Goerke
"Awesome, entertaining show, great heckling, and showmanship ."

Lol Lol
"Great show, fun time for all ages. I would suggest to bring earplugs though, because they make the audience cheer and scream all the time."

Max Charp
"What a fun show! Definitely recommended. A little bit scripted but played out well! Great energy and engagement from the crew and crowd! Overall 10/10 👍"

Keith Landers
"All 13 members of the family loved the show! From ages 4 to 70’s - it was very entertaining. Location was easy to get to, the host was excellent and the lumberjacks were both funny and talented. It was the perfect amount of time and surprisingly funny too. Highly recommend for everyone!"

Jacky Ito
"A little bit kitschy, but very entertaining. The show lasts about an hour and shows off various lumberjack competition skills while having 2 teams compete against one another - "USA" and "Canada" - having half the audience cheer for one and the other half the other. It was good, clean fun! Some snacks are available before the start including drinks and $2 popcorn."

Michelle Denault
"Had a great time at this show. Entertaining and informative. We learned a lot about the history of logging industry in the early years."

Merton Preston
"Lots of fun. There was a light rain but the arena is covered, has overhead heaters, and seats were padded. One staff member in particular seemed to have just one duty, and that was to make sure guests were comfortable. Highly recommended. Would go again if I was traveling with someone who had not seen it before."

Andrew Weaver
"Great show to check out while in port! They put on a good show and offer a variety of different lumberjack activities. Some of the events can get quite loud, so I'd suggest bringing some earbuds or headphones if you are sensitive to loud sounds or have young kids along with you. In terms of seating, all the seats are good and offer great views of the show, so if you get there later, you don't have to worry about bad or obstructed seating."

Neil Hodges
"Fabulous show. It's a well put together with serious wood chopping with a bit of humor. It's a lot of fun."

George Hardie
"Great family friendly show. Must see. Lots of energy and crowd participation. Two thumbs up 👍👍"

Carol Wilson
"This was a fun event… the host was great in keeping the audience in tune what was going and have fun at the expense of the athletes ( trust me these guys are athletes). They split the competitors into two teams. they explain why the team are name as they are.. Canada s USA two of the biggest lumber yards in the area. only 100 miles separated the two campus and the rivalry began. Lots of fun, they keep their guest informed about the busses (if you are on a cruise like us). Highly recommend for the whole family."

"This is a fantastic show. The performers are amazing athletes and comedians. They really knew how to get the crowd hyped up. I also like how the host included some history about the logging industry and the sport. It is worth the visit, and I'd love to see it again."

Rebecca Kory

Namith Manat
"Was really good and worth the money. Had audience participation which kept everything lively."

June Osborne
"What fun. They make sure you have a great time. Interaction with the audience, the competition, it's all good!"

Phyllis McElroy
"Wow, this show is a must see!! The MC and lumberjacks will entertain ages 2 to 102. It was so sunny and warm in May 2023..especially when I heard Ketchikan gets 16ft of rain a year!! Whole town is friendly. My best stop on Alaskan cruise. BTW, Canadian team won that day...yahoo!!"

Jane Clark
"We had a fantastic time watching the lumberjacks do their thing! They were very fun and engaging, and it was a neat way to learn a little about area logging history."

Rachel Lakose
"These guys that put on this show are not actors, but are true lumberjacks. So be patient if the act is a little corny at times. In my younger days, I used both hand saws and axes. It’s hard work and they really work to put on a great show. Being that good, means you make your tasks look easy, believe me, it’s not."
