TESTIMONIALS
What People Are Saying
"Our family had a great time at this show. These men are incredibly talented and the show was well put together. I do recommend going to an earlier show vs later as traffic in Ketchikan getting here from the ports can be a little thick-abd Ketchikan also has some great shopping for friendly souveniers"

Julz Perell
"We really enjoyed the Lumberjack show. It was fun and entertaining. They handle the crowds well. Cute gift store and concessions available too."

Tammy H
"Did this and all you can eat crab. Think medieval times but lumberjack competition. Was fun. The kids we saw were having a blast."

David Moss
"This is a awesome way to spend about 90 minutes in Ketchikan. Although it was raining, the seating is under a roof, and there are heaters if you sit about midway up. The show was very entertaining and humorous. There are a lot of chances for crowd involvement, and there are concessions with some pretty decent options! I recommend this port show if you have a quick stop in town. Them boys worked there butts off, hats off!"

Eddie Moore
"Was a fun show. We have been to Ketchikan a couple of times but decided to do this because we were traveling with our 2 grandsons 18 mo and 3.5 yr old. They enjoyed it. It’s a competition between two teams and you’re encouraged to cheer for your team. Fun experience would definitely recommend. We bought tickets directly through them. I believe they were $43 apiece. We were cruising on NCL. Docked at 7 AM. Bought tickets for the 8:30 AM show was a little bit worried after I read the reviews about getting off the ship but we were ready at 6:45 and headed down to get off. We didn’t have any issues. We were the first ones on the shuttle arrived in town About 7:40. It was about a 15 minute walk. We had time for a a couple of photos and grab some coffee. Since our ship left early, we got out of the show by 9:30. We were able to do a little bit of shopping and walk around town before grabbing the shuttle back to the ship."

Pam Webster

Justin Etherton

Beth Zboran
"Fun. Perfect amount of time and well paced. Covered seating so you don’t have to worry about what the weather will be doing. Would highly recommend especially if you’re looking for a more affordable “excursion” or activity while in Ketchikan."

Courtney C
"Amazing fun experience. The lumberjacks looked amazing with their muscled arms 🤣🤣 The lumberjacks did an amazing show even though it was drizzling. The venue was cosy, warm and comfortable. Definitely recommend this for any age to watch."

Elizabeth Orr
"I had a great time at the show when I visited in October. It was exciting, and the lumberjacks really got the crowd involved."

Taylor Roberts
"It was a really great experience- the guys were very impressive and, whilst scripted, the show definitely had entertainment and comedy value as well as being a display of skill. Lots of audience participation and loud chainsaws etc. Mean this probably isn't for you if you had a heavy night, but otherwise was great fun for kids and adults."

Alistair Mason
"First time visit and blown away by the level of energy and just plain fun. Great time for all including kids. Will absolutely do again next time in Ketchikan. Nothing fake in the show. These are real athletes competing against each other. The MC keeps things lively and entertaining. Yo Ho to the entire cast."

Rick K
"Cheesy? Yep! Entertaining? Yep! Touristy? Yep! Worth your time? For sure! We had a blast and would recommend it to anyone visiting Ketchikan. The show was enjoyable for everyone kids to grandparents. "

"A little bit scripted, but none the less an amazing show especially with the rare and blessed sunny and clear weather we got! In a place that gets 140+in of rain a year,it was a rare treat and made the event that much more special! Each side of the bleachers are different teams, you will be cheering on you're team depending where you sit. There is a small snack shop before entering and also a snack cart below for anything you made need before it starts. If you have any crying babies or screaming children during the event ,please take them out if they start..no one wants to hear that kind of disruption when paying for an event or trying to listen...a simple, kind gesture goes a long way!"

"This was a very fun experience to watch. Everyone was very friendly, enthusiastic and entertaining. The axe throwing was very fun as we have neverdone that before."

P Murphy
"This wasn't my first choice of activities when planning our trip, but I'm so glad we booked this event! After the exciting tour we had of the Misty fjords and the beginning of our trip this was the perfect event to just have fun and shout & yell & make noise in general! We just dove right into the story and the experience and practically lost our voices with shouting. It was such a good time and a great energy!"

Yeedah Krasowski
"It is corny, the jokes are bad .... but it's a must see. You'll have a much better time than you imagine. We had a great time Inspite of the steady unending downpour. Cudos to the performers..."

Robert Peresan
"So. Fun! I didn't know what to expect, but it was an energizing and fun afternoon to see these hunks of lumberjacks perform these tasks. It was also intense, they were not easy jobs and pretty dangerous. The host/emcee was AMAZING and deserves a raise!"

Jason Zimmerman
"What a fun show! I had heard about the show for years but expected just a hokey tourist thing and didn’t really know if I would enjoy myself. Well, we really had a great time. It was an excursion for our ship this past week and they really put on a good showthe trash talking the work the muscles. The mistress of ceremonies everything from beginning to end was fun."

Denise M
"Had a great time. Lively show. My grandson loved it so much. We arrived on the cruise ship. It was a short port stop but we had plenty of time."

Julie Etter (The Butcher's wife)
"An absolute must-do in Alaska! We attended the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show with family during our cruise, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The show was packed with action, from log rolling to axe throwing, and the skill and athleticism of the lumberjacks were impressive. They kept the energy high with a perfect mix of humor and competition, making it fun and engaging for all ages. The performers did a great job involving the audience and made us feel like part of the show. This is a unique and entertaining way to experience Alaskan culture—definitely recommend adding it to your itinerary!"

"My 2nd Visit recently and just as good if not better than the first time! We booked independently to save money from the inflated cruise ship pricing, piece of cake. I am disabled and the entry for mobility issues could’ve been a bit easier to spot as I missed it and was queuing through the store with everyone despite not being able to stand for long, but after this went to reserve seating, the front row is strangely low and exacerbated my conditions we moved to a back row that was much higher and helped me out. No issues as this is a me problem not the shows. The show itself - excellent!!! 10/10 for fun and interaction!! A must when visiting Ketchikan."

Christopher Hunt
"Andrew, Chance, Ethan, Todd and Sweetie Pie Sue did an awesome job!! They had the audience engaged and active from the start, and they did an amazing job demonstrating various lumberjack skills and having tons of fun! 10/10, would go to again!!"

Sarah Rudolph

Tammy Webb

"Its an absolute tourist trap but it's a fun show🤣 id watch it again! Lasagna Joe does a good job of hyping up the crowd. Get there earlier then suggested to find seats together if ur in a large group."

Gabrielle Gordon
"Great show! Very talented team and quite a show for all ages. The skills they showed were world class!"

Brad Bonser
"Best show in town. Probably the only show, but still super fun and 100% worth the price of admission. We bought tickets direct and not via our cruise because more times were offered."

Scott Wakefield
"The rumors were true, this show is amazing! The announcer the, lumber jacks the ambiance. Everything was great ."

Jose Mendoza Soto
"Our family of five (two parents, three children ages 17 - 27) loved this show! The host was super entertaining and funny, and the lumberjacks were also super entertaining and engaging. We didn't know what to expect—and the show exceeded any expectations we might have had. We especially enjoyed learning the backgrounds of the different jacks. Who knew they were serious athletic competitors? We bought our tickets through their website, which seemed the best deal. If you've got time in Ketchikan, I'd for sure make this a stop!"
